The night shift for your coding agents.

Arakun is a native desktop for Claude Code and Droid. Hand out the work before bed. Each agent gets its own worktree, terminal and browser, and checks its own work. You wake up to diffs.

Not a mockup

This is the real app.

We know. Every landing page says that. These really are screenshots; we just kept the raccoon away from Figma.

  1. 11:42 PM

    Hand out the work.

Three prompts, three new environments. Arakun makes a git worktree for each one, so the agents never step on each other's files and main stays clean.

  2. 12:15 AM

    They check their own work.

Every agent can start the dev server in a terminal you can see, open the page in a real Chromium tab, click through it and take a screenshot. "It compiles" stops being the bar.

  3. 1:03 AM

    One gets stuck. Arakun notices.

The same command failing with the same output, or an edit applied, undone and applied again. Arakun spots the loop and asks the agent to stop and explain what it thinks is wrong. Usually that's enough.

  4. 2:47 AM

    CI goes green.

Branches, pull requests and checks live on one map, next to the agent working on each one, so you know which red X belongs to whom.

  5. 8:05 AM

    Review it over coffee.

Every finished turn carries its own diff, including files changed by shell commands and formatters. Read it, ask for changes or merge. Raccoons wash their food before they eat it. Same idea.

The rest of the toolbox

Everything they grab,
in one window.

Memory that outlives the session

Agents save the traps they hit and the calls you made. The next session searches before it repeats the mistake.

#57 decision Retries go through the queue
#63 bugfix Double charge on 3DS retry

Terminals they can read

Agents wait for the port or the compiled line instead of sleeping and hoping.

$ arakun run --port 5173 npm run dev
✓ port 5173 is up (1.8s)
$ arakun logs 1 --until compiled
✓ compiled in 212ms

New sessions, split panes, the terminal and every environment are a shortcut away. Search the whole conversation, thinking included.

Your agents get a CLI too

They use the same window you do.

Every terminal and agent inside Arakun has an arakun command on its PATH. Agents show you the page they built, open the file at the line they changed, start servers you can watch and ping you when they're done.

  • Works with any agent that can run a shell command
  • Waits on ports and log lines, not on sleep 10
  • Screenshots and console errors from real pages

Native, not a web page in a box

Five agents shouldn't
cost you a laptop fan.

Arakun is written in Rust on GPUI and drawn on the GPU. No Electron, no bundled Node. When you look away, it stops drawing.

Made by raccoons

For people who ship at 3am.

Meme: hiring manager says we finally hired a senior engineer; the senior engineer is two raccoons in a trench coat
Meme: a raccoon staring at a puddle where its cotton candy dissolved, captioned me after git reset --hard on 3 hours of uncommitted work
Meme: 3am, five agents, all of them pushing to main; a raccoon calmly drinks coffee

An extremely fair comparison

How people run five agents today.

We asked a panel of experts. The panel was us.

Radical honesty

Things Arakun is bad at.

Questions

Before you let them in.

Which agents does it run?

Claude Code and Factory's Droid run as native sessions, with their tool calls, diffs, permissions and plan limits in the UI. Any other CLI agent runs in the terminal dock and can still use the arakun command.

Do I need new accounts or API keys?

No. Arakun uses the Claude Code and Droid logins you already have on your machine.

Does my code go anywhere new?

Arakun is a desktop app and runs on your machine. Your agents talk to their providers the same way they do in a terminal; Arakun doesn't put a server in between.

What about macOS?

Not yet. Arakun runs on Linux and Windows today. macOS is on the list; leave your email and you'll hear first.

Why a raccoon?

They work at night, they get into everything, they open lids nobody thought they could open, and they wash their food before eating it. That's the job description.

Will it replace me?

No. It replaces your 14 terminal tabs. You still decide what's worth building, and you still have to say no to the raccoon.

Is there a light mode?

Try the sun at the top of the page. We'll wait.

Can I pet the raccoon?

The one at the top of the page, yes. Click it. Gently. The ones in your attic, no.

Early access

Can we help you?

Arakun is in private beta on Linux and Windows. Leave your email and we'll send you a build when there's room in the dumpster.

One email when your build is ready. No newsletter. Raccoon's honor.
